My nieces poor Escape....

- They had to extricate my sister….

I just keep thanking God. The phone call from my niece last night was terrifying. Honestly, I can’t remember much of the conversation. We were behind the fire/rescue truck on the way to the scene…and it seemed like
we couldn’t get there fast enough. Rhonda and I both took off at a sprint
(or *our* version of a sprint!!!) as soon as my truck was in park. I couldn’t
get my arms tight enough around Amber. That poor child. That was *her*
car. *HERS*. It was such a chaotic scene. Like I said, we were right behind the rescue vehicle so they were just turning on the generators and getting the big lights up. I saw the ‘Jaws of Life’…scary, knowing they were going to use that to remove my sister from the vehicle. I don’t remember much…my nephew…not sure how he got out. He just sort of appeared behind me. He was terrified. Poor kid. He never shows any emotion and he
was completely shaken. Crying and just clinging. Amber was complaining of back and neck pain. She was put on a backboard and loaded into one of the
two ambulances. They got my sister out after some struggling. All three were transported to the hospital. And thank the good Lord above, they were fine. Just bruised and shaken. Amber’s little 2007 Ford Escape didn’t
escape. It is a complete loss. Thankfully, it is completely paid for and the
insurance company said it wouldn’t be much involved in getting her taken care of.
There is something to be said for airbags. The Escape had curtain airbags. And the sheriff said that probably saved my sister’s life!!!! Hug and kiss your loved ones. Nobody is guaranteed anything.

Thank God they are O.K. for the most part!!
Um, you weren’t in park when I started out of the truck!! lol It was just stopping! And I’m pretty sure you had one foot out your door, as well.
Thank the good lord they are OK. Was Kelly charged with anything?
I just could not believe it, I had to read and look at the pictures, over and over. If that doesn’t get Kelly’y behind back in church, nothing will. By the way Vic, you look like Sara Palin in the picture on your home page. I think she is gorgeous.
One good thing about the fact that you haven’t updated lately??? You can’t fuss at me!!!
